Dr. 乔纳森 歌手 is a pulmonologist and critical care specialist who cares for patients with advanced lung disease before and after lung transplantation. He treats conditions such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung disease (ILD), connective tissue disease–associated ILD, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
In his research, 歌手 studies outcomes in lung transplantation and how lung transplants improve function, reduce disability and improve health-related quality of life. A second area of his research on lung transplantation is identifying presurgical risk factors associated with important outcomes.
歌手 earned his medical degree and master of science degree in the joint program of the University of California, Berkeley and UCSF.
