Dr. 彼得 塞尔 specializes in adult bone marrow transplantation and other treatments for leukemia, 多发性骨髓瘤, lymphoma and Hodgkin's disease.
塞尔 is a director of clinical research at UCSF. His research interests focus on allogeneic stem cell transplants (which use cells from a matching donor) and leukemia in older adults. His work on these subjects has been widely published in medical and other scientific journals.
塞尔 earned an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Yale College, graduating magna cum laude. He earned his medical degree at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and he earned a doctorate in immunology at Harvard University. He completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at UCSF before joining the faculty in 1996.
