Dr. Vedat Deviren is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in caring for children and adults with spinal disorders.     The dr really listened to me and understood my needs but I felt like didn't explain the surgical option that I want to go thru with fully. But I was not asking many questions but the basics were not explained either of the surgery.

    The provider walked into the room with a diagnosis and treatment plan before discussing how I was feeling. Then he attributed my back pain and discomfort to stress in my life not the fact that I have actual back issues and a bulging disc. My previous experience with chiropractor physical therapy and comfort care was not taken into account and I felt dismissed in order to back the care plan that was already prescribed.

    Given this was my first visit to a "specialist" there was very little concern shown for the physical event that occurred at the beginning of August. 那时我的疼痛程度接近9-10. It took a month to book an MRI as well as PT and so I took it upon myself to rehabilitate while waiting for these appointments.     Doctor said he could fix my problem but did not explain how he would do it(what was involved). Did not explain what went wrong in the first place and I of course did not think to ask at that time. Thought he should have been forthcoming with that information at beginning of appointment. Instead once he asked who did the surgery he asked if we had informed said doctor of my problems.
